**Location:** Our Walnut Creek, CA office is conveniently located near public transportation. BART is ideally situated for bicycle commuters, there's plenty of free parking, and an abundance of eateries in the surrounding area. Hybrid schedules available with flexibility to be fully remote from any location, visiting our California office approximately 10 days per quarter.

Position Summary:

This position will make use of knowledge and skillsets of solar inverter product and energy storage experience to provide product management and sales enablement support and coordinate regional technical sales activities globally for Canadian Solar String Inverter products. The position will be a direct communication link with global salesmen, customers, and headquarters personnel abroad to assist with needs and support as defined below.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage elements of the existing and future CSI product portfolio and its life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities including creating, maintaining, and updating product roadmaps.
  • Main product focus: String Inverter Products, General Solar System knowledge.
  • Be the global resource to coordinate and support regional product management activities specific to the product of focus to build and leverage unified collaterals and enable sales proliferation for the regions.
  • Communicate and train customers and sales teams regarding product details, specifications, advantages, applications, and benchmark compared to competitors.
  • Research, analyze, and draft market requirements for existing and new products.
  • Prepare content and materials for customer visits with sales managers to conduct product presentations, training sessions, webinars, and customer events.
  • Work with the marketing team to launch and communicate new products and their features.

Requirements:

  • **Education/Certifications:** Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business discipline is required; a graduate degree is strongly preferred.
  • **Professional Qualifications:** Minimum 5 years of experience in product management in the energy sector or within the PV industry.
  • **Additional Requirements:** Experience in PV Power Electronic String Inverter technology is a must. Ability to travel up to 45% of the time, including international travel.

Compensation and Benefits:

Canadian Solar offers a competitive salary plus fully comprehensive benefits and performance bonus package based on annual objective achievement. Benefits include a 401(k) Retirement Plan, medical, dental, life, disability program, PTO, and sick days. This is a full-time position with a pay range of $120,000 - $150,000 annually.
