**The Opportunity** The Field Service Specialist is responsible for critical maintenance, troubleshooting, and support for Solar and Battery Storage projects in North America. Additionally, the role involves supporting the review of electrical design, equipment selection, and construction of new projects with a focus on long-term function and serviceability improvement. Developing and providing training programs for field personnel is also a key aspect of this position.

**What You’ll Do at Enel North America**

  • Provide advanced technical support for installation, testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, overhaul, or repair of critical equipment.
  • Develop and lead training programs for technicians within the Solar and Battery Storage group.
  • Coordinate with field and Solar BESS Engineers to develop a Reliability Based Maintenance plan for operational assets.
  • Provide commissioning and start-up support on projects under construction.
  • Create and review technical documentation, operating procedures, and troubleshooting support for Solar and Battery Storage projects.
  • Assist in the development of Root Cause Analysis, Asset Criticality Analysis, and Failure Mode Effect Analysis.

**Who You Are**

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Medium and High Voltage power systems, inverters, instrumentation, and control systems.
  • Expertise in troubleshooting and repair of power plant equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of power plant-related test equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents accurately.
  • Up to 60% domestic travel and occasional 5% international travel.
  • Valid driver’s license operable in all 50 states and Canada with a clean driving record.

**What You’ve Accomplished**

  • Associate's degree or Technical Certificate in relevant fields.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in utility-scale solar industry.
  • Certification per FAA Section 107 for Pilot Remote Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems is required.
  • Certifications in reliability-based maintenance and asset management preferred.
  • Knowledge of Condition Monitoring technologies.
