Job Description

Location: San Ramon, CA

Scope: Full time

Reporting to: CEO

Beewise is seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to join as our Director of Human Resources. This is a pivotal role that will play a key part in shaping and driving our people strategy as we continue to grow and innovate in the sustainable agriculture sector.

Responsibilities:

Strategic HR Leadership:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive people strategy aligned with Beewise's overall business goals.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement, retention, and overall satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with leadership to ensure a diverse and inclusive workplace.

Talent Acquisition

  • Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process to attract top-tier talent.
  • Implement innovative and effective sourcing strategies.
  • Foster a positive candidate experience reflective of Beewise's values.

Employee Development:

  • Design and implement professional development programs.
  • Identify and nurture high-potential employees.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and growth.

Performance Management:

  • Lead performance management processes, including goal setting and regular performance reviews.
  • Implement strategies to recognize and reward high performers.

Culture and Employee Well-being:

  • Cultivate and promote Beewise's unique culture.
  • Implement initiatives to support employee well-being and work-life balance.

Team Building:

  • Utilize your experience to build and lead the HR team from scratch.
  • Develop a high-performing HR team capable of supporting Beewise's growth.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in HR, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful HR strategies.
  • Experience in the agriculture or technology sector is a plus.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in building HR teams from the ground up
