Job Description

For one of our client's projects, we are currently looking for a Commissioning Lead (m/f/d) - Onshore Landstation on a temporary basis until the end of 2026 at the Böttel location, full-time.

**Your tasks:**

  • Supervise pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, operation, and maintenance activities for the BorWin6 project
  • Develop pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up procedures
  • Review engineering documentation during home office activities
  • Interface with construction and the client as needed
  • Supervise subcontractors, supplier servicemen, and client personnel
  • Develop training programs for supervised employees and client personnel
  • Liaise with local agencies for necessary approvals and smooth operation
  • Implement safety procedures and contribute to the lesson learned database
  • Coordinate with the Systems Completion Manager (m/f/d) for facility systemization and data validation
  • Ensure overall safety of the facility and personnel

**Your profile:**

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or equivalent education in electrical specialization
  • Significant involvement in at least three major projects in wind, oil and gas, chemical process, or electric power industries showcasing broad technical knowledge in commissioning and start-up
  • Over 5 years of experience with HV, MV, LV equipment in relevant industries
  • Strong communication and presentation skills for interaction with discipline managers, technical engineers, and non-engineers
  • Proficient in English and conversational in German
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF editor, and other relevant software
  • Excellent organizational skills adaptable to various discipline groups' needs
  • Ability to assess and communicate project requirements clearly
  • Capability to lead a commissioning project team
  • Willingness to travel to construction sites, including international assignments
