Adjunct Supervisor

**Location:** Camden, NJ **Employment Type:** Full Time **Organization:** Holtec International **Experience:** Mid Level

Position Summary

The Adjunct Supervisor will assist with oversite of production operations. They must be detail-oriented, possess strong mechanical skills, and demonstrate advanced math and computer skills.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Work with Production Supervisors to coordinate shift turnover
  • Coordinate personnel to the appropriate jobs based on Supervisors recommendations
  • Coordinate work instruction for specific jobs based on Supervisors recommendations
  • Monitor Production work requests and documentation
  • Identify and monitor witness inspection and hold points and verify their completion
  • Coordinate material paperwork and tagging procedures
  • Assist with quality control and fabrication procedures
  • Assist with material moves by tracking moving material from workstations and operations
  • Assist Supervisors with safety walkthroughs by conducting observations of work looking for safety violations and opportunities for improvement
  • Assist Shop Managers, Supervisors, Product Line Managers, and Quality Assurance with quality production and safety surveillance
  • Assist QA by tracking rework, non-conforming conditions, deviation reports, conducting minimal investigations into root cause, and assisting QA Engineers with identifying quality errors
  • Other duties as assigned

The associate may be exposed to adverse environmental conditions such as in a typical warehouse or external loading areas. This role can be physically demanding and may require the ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds.

Minimum and Preferred Qualifications

  • 4-year degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Nuclear preferred) or similar degree
  • Advanced Proficiency in MS Office
  • Ability to read blueprints
