**Job Description:**

BWX Technologies is looking for a System Design Manager for its Advanced Technologies location in Lynchburg, VA. The System Design Manager will lead a multi-disciplinary team of engineers in designing and developing innovative nuclear reactors and radioisotope production systems. Responsibilities include overseeing system design, performing supervisory duties, providing technical leadership, and ensuring quality assurance requirements are met.

**Job Qualifications:**

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Nuclear, or similar discipline)
• Minimum of five years of leadership experience
• Experience in design of thermo-mechanical fluid systems
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project)
• U.S. citizenship required
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) or Department of Defense (DOD) security clearance
• Desired skillsets include familiarity with ASME NQA 1 requirements, NRC and/or DOE regulations, and experience with ASME B31
