Buro Happold is looking for a Sustainability Consultant with wellbeing and sustainability design experience. The role comes with an attractive salary and benefits package plus a hybrid working pattern.

Key Duties

• Exuding passion and enthusiasm for the built environment to support human outcomes and fair distribution of value
• Sustainability project and service support
• Task leadership and direction mentorship of more junior team members
• Production of technical guidance and analysis to influence policy, corporate strategies, and urban planning
• Providing written comments and producing reports and presentations with excellent visual and grammatical quality
• Working as part of multidisciplinary teams including but not limited to attending meetings with architects, planners, government agencies, and clients
• Formulating external presentations for outreach and business development purposes

Your Skills & Experience

• Experience in a comparable sustainability consulting role with a focus on the built environment
• Specialist knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Energy and Carbon, Building Performance, Natural Capital, Climate Resilience, External Environments, Health Wellbeing, Social Value, Circular economy
• Ability to communicate in an effective and confident manner
• Working knowledge of wellbeing and sustainable design techniques analysis or modeling relevant to the construction industry or corporate strategies
• Experience producing high-quality graphical and written outputs
• Experience in sustainability strategy development, buildings, and/or masterplans
• Assessment system qualifications (e.g., LEED, BREEAM, WELL) and evidence of practical competence of their application
