The EY CCaSS (Climate Change and Sustainability Services) team is a multidisciplinary group of professionals with deep expertise in sustainability issues. Details of our services and career opportunities are available at Careers in Climate change and sustainability services - EY Global.

**Your Role:**

As part of the Italian team's development, we are seeking a Senior Consultant for our location in Rome. The candidate will focus on proactive and responsible execution of sustainability and HSE project activities, coordinating project teams in support of managerial figures and acting as a project reference in direct contact with the client. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2-3 years of work experience in consulting with expertise in one or more areas related to:

• Due Diligence
• HSE and ESG Audit in legislative context
• HSE permitting, environmental compliance
• Site characterization and remediation
• ESG rating and assessment
• Carbon footprint and LCA

Experience in sustainability projects, support for reporting and climate change strategies would also be positively evaluated.

**Required Qualifications:**

• Bachelor's degree in technical disciplines, preferably Engineering or STEM
• Proven experience in HSEQ
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and remediation management processes
• Certification processes for ISO standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, health and safety regulations (D. Lgs 81/08), audit due diligence methodologies
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Strong effective communication and presentation skills with senior level client executives
• Ability to develop documents to support effective communication in a consulting context (MS PowerPoint)
• Proficient in MS Excel
• Willingness to travel in Italy and abroad

**Additional Preferred Qualifications:**

• Experience in safety-related activities on construction sites or remediation
• Qualifications as an Auditor Lead Auditor for ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 50001
• RSPP qualification and Trainer for workplace safety
• EGE qualification
