Senior Manager Financial Planning Analysis
Position Summary
At the Rainforest Alliance, we are looking for a collaborative and results-oriented Senior FP&A Manager to join the Finance team. The Sr. Manager FP&A will be responsible for the financial management and budgeting of RA's Departments and reports into the Global Sr. Director Financial Planning and Analysis. They will work with global, regional, and country leadership to monitor, analyze, forecast, and report the financial performance of their department programs and projects. This role contributes to the productivity and impact across the organization through financial data that will help prioritize and support decision-making effectively.
Responsibilities
- Create and manage complex financial models for accurate forecasting of revenue, expense, and liquidity.
- Perform ad hoc analysis for leadership, board, and other key stakeholders.
- Train and upskill other members of the FP&A team on financial modeling.
- Partner with key leadership on top-level priorities and objectives.
- Manage the financial analysis, planning, and forecasting of parts of the organization's restricted and unrestricted funds.
- Maintain the financial health of the departments responsible for producing accurate monthly budget-to-actuals reports, forecasts, and dashboards.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure financial excellence.
- Coordinate proposal budget development and liaise with auditors.
- Support field teams and ensure general compliance across country offices of finance processes.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration with a concentration in Accounting or Finance.
- 7-10 years of experience in financial analysis, reporting, and budgeting.
- Expert in financial modeling and Excel.
- Strong math, analytical, and technical skills.
- Track record of partnering with executive leadership.
- Experience managing complex government grants preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills and project management experience.
- Outstanding communication skills.
- Ability to operate independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness and ability to travel nationally and internationally.
Salary
- Excluding NY and DC: $75,540 - $107,900
- New York: $89,739 - $128,198
- Washington DC: $86,860 - $124,085
