Controller - Rewiring America

Rewiring America is seeking a Controller to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all financial activities of the organization, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, accounting, and leadership, as well as a passion for addressing climate change through clean energy solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices.
• Oversee the preparation of financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage the organization's budgeting process and monitor financial performance against targets.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support decision-making across the organization.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure financial goals are aligned with organizational objectives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in financial management and accounting.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated leadership ability and a passion for driving positive change in the fight against climate change.
