**Location:** Our offices are located in Gloucester, Bristol, London, and Glasgow with options for base location dependent on role. Flexible and blended working arrangements are also available. Gloucester is a base location for all licensees; Bristol for Hinkley Point C; London for Sizewell C; and Glasgow for EDF Nuclear Operations.

**Employment Type:** Permanent **Employment Basis:** Full-time, Part-time **Salary:** Starting from £47,700 depending on experience, plus a market-leading pension scheme and other benefits.

The Opportunity

EDF has opportunities for Safety Case Engineers across all licensees. This includes roles within our Nuclear Operations business supporting generating and defueling power stations. Join our Nuclear Operations team to support safe generation at existing power stations with a focus on safety cases to optimize and extend generating lives towards Net Zero goals. Alternatively, support the development of safety cases for new nuclear power stations at Hinkley Point C and Sizewell C.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Safety Case Engineer, your role involves developing and maintaining the safety case within the Design Authority. You may work on new build projects at Hinkley Point C or Sizewell C, providing technical leadership throughout the nuclear power plant lifecycle. Alternatively, in Nuclear Operations, you will support safety cases during normal operations and defueling phases, ensuring compliance in a regulated environment.
