Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a Payroll Specialist to be responsible for processing biweekly payroll, reviewing and performing payroll audits, reviewing payroll and payroll reports for accuracy, as well as serving as a point of contact for questions about payment policies and procedures.

Essential Job Functions:

• Handles the processing of biweekly payroll
• Assists with updating payroll records
• Assists with compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, etc.
• Determines payroll liabilities
• Provides payroll information and answers questions
• Complies with legal requirements
• Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge

Physical Demands & Abilities:

• The associate is required to talk and hear
• The associates use a computer for communication
• The associate works in an office environment
• Attention to detail is vital

Minimum Qualifications:

• 1-4 years of payroll processing experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in related area
• Equivalent professional experience
• Knowledge of ADP Workforce Now is a plus but not required
