About the opportunity

Reporting to the national plant nutrition manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Identify, develop, and successfully implement strategies that will improve the relationship, market position, and perception of Nutrien Ag Solutions in the market
• Negotiate profitable and improved trading arrangements with key suppliers
• Manage opportunities in the proprietary segment
• Ensure data files are correctly maintained including pricing, rebates, and margins
• Identify, develop, and successfully implement strategies that will work towards continuous improvement
• Manage risk associated with domestic and international commodity markets
• Provide senior executives with timely reports detailing key business indicators performance

What you will bring

• Experience understanding of the specialty fertiliser market from sourcing through to field application
• Proven inventory management
• Ability to form and maintain strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
• Well-developed strategic and analytical skills
• Strong influencing skills
• Provide the highest level of customer service to clients at all touch points
• Tertiary qualifications in Ag Science or similar desirable but not mandatory
