Job Description

The Manager, Product Sourcing Contract Manufacturing will oversee all aspects of supply planning related to the branded supplements business at Sakara Life. This role includes managing current SKUs in the branded supplements portfolio and facilitating products moving from R&D to commercialization phases. The individual will also act as the primary point of contact with co-manufacturing partners, external suppliers, and 3PL partners to ensure a robust operational infrastructure for the branded products business. This position reports to the Director of Product Sourcing Contract Manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and optimal inventory levels across all locations
• Plan and place purchase orders for finished products
• Analyze supply and demand across the product portfolio
• Develop supply and demand planning tools
• Maintain weekly inventory reports with accuracy
• Coordinate with production facilities, warehouses, and fulfillment partners
• Manage transportation for finished products and materials
• Work cross-functionally with various teams on product requirements
• Evaluate production variances and optimize costs
• Continuously improve purchasing systems and processes
• Perform other related duties as required

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or related field
• 3-5 years of supply chain management experience
• 3-5 years of managing a CPG product portfolio
• Advanced analytical skills, especially in Microsoft Excel
• Experience working with an ERP system and logistics software
• Previous experience with retailer and distributor onboarding
• Strong negotiation and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Detail-oriented and results-driven
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities

**Location:** This role is based in NYC (Soho) and LIC with a hybrid work model. **Compensation:** $80,000 to $100,000 annually
