Human Capital Administrator
As the HC Administrator at OCI, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Human Capital department in various administrative functions, including payroll management. Your responsibilities will involve ensuring the smooth operation of HC processes, contributing to the efficiency of facilitating employee onboarding, maintaining accurate employee records, and providing support on HC-related inquiries. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for fostering a positive workplace environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the success of our organization by effectively managing HC administrative tasks and supporting the HC team in achieving its objectives.
Your scope of responsibility:
- Assist with implementing Human Capital programs by providing Human Capital services, such as employment processing, compensation processing, health benefits, training and development, records management, and completing personnel transactions.
- Conduct new hire onboarding activities, orientation, and complete all required paperwork.
- Maintain employee records and databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Handle employee inquiries and support HR-related matters, such as benefits, payroll, policies, and procedures.
- Assist with HR reporting and data analysis, generating reports on key HR metrics as needed.
- Ensure compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations.
- Support HR projects and initiatives, such as employee engagement, diversity and inclusion programs, company events, and training initiatives.
- Perform benefits administration and communicate benefits information to employees.
- Process monthly billings from insurance providers, review billings for accuracy, code and advance for payment, and resolve discrepancies with carriers, payroll, and the company.
- Manage payroll activities, including processing payroll, ensuring the accuracy of timekeeping records, and addressing payroll-related inquiries.
- Develop and maintain affirmative action program files, EEO-1 report annually, and maintain other records, reports, and logs to conform to EEO regulations.
- Perform other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.
What you bring to OCI:
- **Education, Experience, and/or Training:** Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field and 2-3 years of experience working in a similar role, or 5 years of experience in an HR-related role.
- **Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:** Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism, general knowledge of employment laws and best practices, experience in a manufacturing plant preferred, proactive and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
