CLEAResult is seeking a Market Outreach Specialist to be part of a program delivery team responsible for designing and implementing innovative and equitable residential energy-efficiency programs in Oregon and Southwest Washington. The ideal candidate is a proven self-starter who enjoys a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Strong organizational, collaborative, interpersonal and adaptive skills are a must. CLEAResult seeks a candidate with relationship-building and project management skills to grow with our programs and community impact.

Job Description

CLEAResult seeks a self-starter with relationship-building, client management and business acumen skills to grow with our company. The ideal candidate will display a passion for accelerating the adoption of residential energy efficiency technologies in communities of color, with emphasis on the Latino community. This position will also support the diversification of contractors supporting the adoption of Residential energy efficiency programs.

This candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing focused Program offers, and will need to ensure projects are completed on-time and with high quality. This role is both internal-facing and client-facing, and there is often direct client, customer or trade ally communication and contact. This position will also have tasks including reporting results, providing direct Program support via phone and email, and working collaboratively with the team to meet Program goals and deliverables.

This position will be tasked with strengthening relationships with Latino community stakeholders including, but not limited to, community-based organizations and leaders, marketing agencies, and/or residential contractors, while increasing awareness and participation in residential energy efficiency incentive programs.

  • Develop outreach tactics to assist in recruiting organizations, customers, retailers and schools to participate in efficiency programs
  • Prepare deliverables for management and clients, report activity in the market and document interactions with stakeholders
  • Prepare, analyze and review reports and spreadsheets for accuracy, completeness, errors, and eligibility. Integrate strategic recommendations to the client based on feedback from community-based organizations and field staff.
  • Skilled in written & oral communications across a variety of audiences that may hold a variety of ideological positions. Ability to convey complex ideas through brief, simple materials.
  • Participate and present at community events; act as a program representative and subject matter expert in local residential energy-efficiency programs.
  • Support small-scale translation of program documents and presentation materials
  • Attend project meetings and disseminate information to appropriate parties.
  • Maintain strong ongoing communications with internal & external stakeholders & market actors to assess their needs, receive feedback and implement enhancements
  • Either have experience in or the aptitude and interest to learn more regarding technical residential energy principles, theories and concepts of HVAC equipment and weatherization best practices.

In this exciting career opportunity, you will have…

  • Spanish-language communication skills
  • 4-8 years combined work experience with weatherization programs, residential contracting, non-profit organizations, community organizing, environmental advocacy, energy efficiency and/or project management
  • Presentation and public speaking proficiency preferred
  • Team-oriented, hands-on, highly skilled, adaptive, and client-focused.
  • Strong Microsoft Office, writing and reporting skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and communicate progress of task completion.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under stress, interruptions, and tight deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality; organized and process-oriented.
  • Problem Solving, Working Under Pressure, Analytical, Process Oriented, Computer Savvy

*Position requires extensive time using a computer in a home office setting. Driving will occasionally be required.

Target Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000 / Annually

Compensation Range

$48,600.00 - $72,900.00Currency
