What You'll Be Doing:

We are looking for a Manager, New Product Introduction, to play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless transition of products from the design phase to full-scale manufacturing. This individual will act as the primary liaison between design, engineering, prototyping, and manufacturing team providing expertise on component sourcing and design considerations to enhance testing, manufacturability, assembly, and serviceability of our products.

  • Act as primary liaison between product development, engineering, supply chain, and operations, with focus on manufacturing planning, supply chain management and quality assurance.
  • Manage, direct, and oversee NPI engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams supporting every phase of manufacturing from low volume pilots to high volume deployments.
  • Lead and manage the component sourcing and selection process to ensure optimal quality, cost-effectiveness, and supplier reliability.
  • Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to assess potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities.
  • Provide recommendations to design teams on equipment/instruments specifications and review vendor's drawings and documentation.
  • Collaborate with engineering and test teams to ensure that the selected equipment, instruments, procedures, and practices meet verification and validation requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with the prototyping/manufacturing team to build and execute quality management system

Requirements****The minimum requirements we seek:

  • BS/MS in chemical, manufacturing, mechanical or electrical engineering and 10-15 years of experience in manufacturing, design, or a closely related field.

  • In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, process equipment (reactors, heat exchangers, pumps, etc.), instrumentation (sensors, flow meters, transmitters, etc.), mechanical (API, ASTM, ASME, etc.), eletrical (IEC60079, etc.), Safety (IEC61511, etc.), and design principles.

  • Demonstrated experience reviewing, interpreting, and providing feedback on vendor technical documents, schematics, and specifications.

  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated leadership qualities, including mentorship, team collaboration, and the ability to lead multiple projects independently.

  • SolidWorks/CATIA 3D modeling and drafting experience.

  • Familiar with PLM software, Propel or 3DX preferred.

  • In-depth knowledge of ASME Y14.5 drafting standards and inspection implementation for Quality Assurance and Quality Control.

    The salary pay range for this position is $141,000 to $153,000. The salary pay range is applicable to positions physically based in Houston, TX. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, job experience and physical location.
