Our partners range from artists to scientists, educators to technologists across the United States and around the world. We have a community of change-makers, diverse and disparate in backgrounds with a core belief that we should not accept the world as it is.
As with the whole of Emerson Collective, what matters most is that we work with people who are not only the very best at what they do, but also the kindest.

This role will report to the Director, Hemispheric Migration. The role is based in Mexico City or Washington, DC, with frequent travel required.### Role and Responsibilities

  • Support the management and engagement of, as well as strategic communications with key partners across the Americas, including INGOs, government actors at the national and subnational level, international financial institutions, researchers, and philanthropies.
  • Draft policy papers and communicational products for internal and external audiences to support advocacy efforts, and provide research support and analysis on sub-regional, regional, and hemispheric migration trends, developments, and policy, in English and Spanish.
  • Collaborate effectively with various teams across Emerson Collective, including philanthropy, communications, data, and others to advance the work of the hemispheric migration team.
  • Administrative duties include supporting virtual and in-person convenings and events, notetaking, and other tasks.

Qualifications, Skills, and Requirements

  • 5-7 years’ experience working on hemispheric and/or sub-regional migration issues.
