Logistics Coordinator

The Logistics Coordinator is primarily responsible for maintaining the integrity of delivery schedule data between Purchasing ETA’s and coordination of delivery trucks to each solar site and/or warehouse.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Communicate with vendors and internal purchasing team to convert ETA’s from the Master Delivery Schedule into the Daily Delivery Schedule.

• Communicate with remote teams regarding Daily Delivery Schedule and adjustments with delivery appointments.

• Inbound and outbound freight sourcing.

• Standardization and analysis of historic freight data.

• Cross-functional training with the Purchasing Manager, Warehouse Manager, and Logistics & Inventory Operations Managers as well as learning how to budget.

• Streamline communication and transactional data through Teams and ViewPoint Vista (ERP).

• All other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements

 Excellent planning, problem solving and organization skills

 Strong MS Office and fluent Excel skills

 Strong customer service skills (internal and external customers)

 Must be detail oriented with demonstrated ability for accuracy.

 Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work with multiple partners and peers across the organization.

 Must have a high level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency.

 Must have the ability to convey information and ideas verbally and written.

 Must have the ability to work independently and demonstrate sound decision-making skills.

 Bachelors degree (Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics) preferred or equivalent related experience.
