Job Description

As a Logistics Analyst, your goal is to execute logistics plans for the delivery and distribution of finished products and ensure product arrives complete on time and in a cost-effective manner. You will maintain appropriate records, prepare reports, and coordinate logistics activities with internal and external customers. You will do this by:

  • Providing frontline support for daily logistics operations, resolving issues, and ensuring on-time delivery of products.
  • Participating in developing and implementing logistics plans affecting the delivery and distribution of finished products.
  • Identifying and analyzing root causes of issues and working with logistics partners to develop solutions and performance improvement measures.
  • Cultivating relationships with other departments to understand their customers' needs and propose ideas to exceed expectations.
  • Documenting and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) as needed.
  • Maintaining department shipment data and records, running monthly reports, and identifying trends and opportunities for cost savings.
  • Coordinating with suppliers to ensure performance and cost requirements are executed.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field OR equivalent education and experience.
  • Three or more years of experience in logistics, transportation, or a supply chain-related field.
  • Fluent in English and primary language used in the area of responsibility and/or location.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Comprehensive experience with the Microsoft Office suite of products, Google Applications, and other software associated with assigned work.
  • Well-developed knowledge of ERP systems like SAP.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and organize and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, detail-oriented.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to interact with diverse groups of people.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Wauwatosa, WI (hybrid eligible)
