Legal Counsel

**Location**: Gentofte **Workplace**: Office based **Employment type**: Permanent

Imagine a future where you're part of an international in-house legal team playing a crucial role in driving change towards a green energy future. Join us in this role where you'll work closely with our Trading, Revenue, and Bioenergy businesses as a trusted advisor. You'll provide day-to-day legal support and advice on a broad range of corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters.

**Welcome to Legal** You'll be part of the in-house legal team where you, together with your colleagues, will serve as a trusted advisor to the business along with over 80 dedicated colleagues. Our advice is grounded in a deep and broad understanding of both our organization and the wider energy industry. You'll be part of the team responsible for providing legal support to our Trading, Revenue, and Bioenergy businesses. As a team, our ambition is to deliver proactive, timely, cost-efficient, tailored, and commercial high-quality legal advice across our geographical footprint.

You'll play an important role in providing legal support in the areas of contract marketing and energy law, including drafting, negotiating, and reviewing contracts related to the purchase and sale of energy products, identifying and managing legal risks associated with our operations, and handling any legal disputes, including litigation, arbitration, and mediation processes.

**To succeed in the role, you:**

  • Are a qualified attorney at law admitted in Denmark
  • Equipped with relevant experience from a law firm or an in-house team in a larger company
  • Have strong legal skills with experience in contract marketing and energy law as an advantage
  • Are commercially minded and possess strong analytic skills
  • Can communicate clearly and simply both verbally and in writing in Danish and English
  • Enjoy developing relationships with key stakeholders and can quickly establish credibility
