Job Description

As a Junior Backend Developer, you will be part of the Chapter Software Engineering at EDT. You will work on the Digital Solutions I Future Energy Home team, which develops and operates software to manage home energy devices like photovoltaic inverters, batteries, EV charging wall boxes, and more. Your responsibilities will include:

• Backend Software Development for the Future Energy Home product portfolio using Typescript, NodeJS, and AWS cloud
• Analyzing third-party APIs, mapping data models, and integrating with devices
• Collaborating with solution architects, developers, and stakeholders to deliver the best experience to end customers
• Ensuring clean code, architectures, and performing refactoring to advance the product
• Staying up-to-date with software technologies and frameworks

Your Profile

• Several years of experience as a Backend Developer using Typescript, NodeJS, and optionally React
• Experience in cloud-native software design, common web technologies, and AWS cloud technologies
• Proven track record in utilizing DevOps tooling and experience with Python
• Excellent communication skills in English
