Human Resources Associate

Job descriptionJob Summary:

• Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.

• Performs administrative and record keeping tasks related to staffing changes, which may include separations.

• Taking appropriate action against those who violate rules and regulations and addressing employee grievances.

• The Human Resource Associate will perform HR tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organizations human resource department.

• Generating official internal documents such as offer letters, appointment letters, salary slips and warning letters

• Answers frequently asked questions from employees and candidates relative to company policies, benefits, hiring processes.

• Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.

• Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.

• Conducts new hire onboarding.

• Self starter, independent, attention to detail and willing to go the extra mile for the right results.

Preferred skills and qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in HR or some college or Associates degree (or equivalent) in human resources, business, or related field

• Proven success working in an HR department

• Resourceful mindset and strong attention to detail

• Knowledge of local laws and regulations related to employment

• Understanding of personnel and compliance records management

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
