Summary/Primary Role:

Brightcore Energy is hiring a Geothermal Driller to be a core member of the Geothermal team. We are a leading installer of geothermal ground heat exchanger systems. We pride ourselves on the quality of services, we are committed to our clients and have spent years refining the specialized skill set required to enable optimal geothermal system performance. Our geothermal team is extremely important in meeting our high standards and we are looking for highly motivated individuals ready to begin and help us continue to offer exceptional geothermal systems to our clients. Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

(Management may amend or assign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time)

• Mobilize drilling equipment including various applications within an urban and suburban environment.
• Perform geotechnical and environmental drilling methods.
• Install test wells and conduct feasibility studies with the Geothermal team.
• Ensure project safety, organization, and security of all equipment and personnel. Willingness to cross-train.
• Operate and care for drill rigs, machines, and other equipment as needed.
• Responsible for site safety and the safety of the drilling crew.
• Understand mechanics and requirements for drill sites.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma required.
• Active CDL A License required.
• Prior experience operating drilling equipment is required.
• Understands and follow utility locate law and compliance procedures, safety protocols, instructions, and quality regulations.
• 5+ years of construction and/or drilling experience (either NY, NJ, CT, MA drilling license a plus).
• Experience with geothermal heat pumps.
• Ability to travel to job sites within the United States.
• IGSHPA Installer certification preferred.
• OSHA 40 & SST card strongly preferred.

Supervisory Responsibility:

This position does not have supervisory responsibility.

Expected Hours of Work:

An Employee must work a minimum of thirty (30) hours each week to maintain full-time status for benefits purposes, however the expectations of the position will require an average of forty (40) hours with overtime required as scheduled. The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future. When determining an employee’s base salary and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, and internal equity). Brightcore also offers a comprehensive set of benefits to compliment the base salary. The hourly hiring range for this position is $43.00-$55.00.

Travel Requirements:

• Travel Required up to 90%

Work Environment:

• Physical work involves hauling, lifting (60-80 lbs.), moving, loading, and digging.
• Requires standing and bending for extended periods of time.
• Mobilization of equipment to job site.
• Requires working outdoors in all elements.

Office/Remote Work Guidelines:

Recognizing the success of remote work, Brightcore operates in a hybrid model. Eligible employees will have the option to work remotely for two (2) days per week at their discretion, with final approval by their direct supervisor. This policy is subject to change at Brightcore's discretion.
