Full Stack Laravel Vue.js Developer (m/f/d) - Conversion Rate Optimization Team at Flix

We're looking for a motivated and driven Software Engineer to join our Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Team. The vision of the Team is to provide an easy, engaging, and enjoyable experience for all our customers so they love our product. To improve our customer journey and overall revenue, we create an easy to use environment for conducting A/B Tests with our fellow product teams.

**Team Conversion Rate Optimization** is responsible for A/B Testing. We run experiments on our customer-facing products, websites, and apps. We collect data, analyze it, and collaborate closely with all teams on new ideas and iterations based on the data we gather, building our Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) suite.

We strongly believe in automation and scalability. We are aiming to build the best-in-class CRO SaaS solution that perfectly fits the Flix infrastructure. The suite enables us to run a high number of parallel tests by injecting code into our frontends and analyzing the resulting data tracking. We make sure all user behavior in the booking funnel is tracked. Our source of truth when it comes to data is Snowplow, which is maintained by our data processing team. Further, we are responsible for Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics Insights. We provide our colleagues with actionable data-based insights. In addition to analyzing data in Snowflake, we also use Hotjar for surveys and heatmaps.

Tech Stack:

• PHP 8.1 Laravel in the backend of our CRO Suite
• Vue.js 3 in the frontend of our CRO Suite
• Datasets based on the Snowplow data ETLs and data functions with the support of Snowflake
• Python for the data analysis part
• AWS as a cloud infrastructure

Your Tasks:

• Paint the world green
• You will be part of our cross-functional self-organized team of 8 international professionals providing an easy, engaging, enjoyable booking experience for all our customers.
• You develop and maintain our large distributed environment with a focus on our CRO suite and the development and maintenance of features.
• You write solid, maintainable, scalable, testable, and tested code and supervise it through all the deployment steps.
• You analyze, propose, and drive technology improvements.
• You support our agile, flexible, team-oriented development.

Your Profile:

Ready to hop on board?

• 2 years of experience with PHP and JavaScript
• Solid knowledge of Laravel and Vue.js frameworks
• Experience with CSS, SASS, Flexbox, Grid
• Experience with relational databases (e.g. MySQL)
• Knowledge of unit testing, especially PHPUnit, Jest
• Good understanding of system design and software architecture
• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Information Systems, or relevant industry experience
• Fluent in English

**Nice to have:**

• Experience with A/B testing
• Understanding of Google Analytics
• Knowledge of TypeScript and React.js
• Good understanding of cloud services (AWS would be a plus)
• Willingness to grow and learn Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Gitlab CI, Terraform, MongoDB, Redis, Kafka, SQS, RabbitMQ
