CarbonBright is a fast growing Techstars Portfolio SaaS Startup in the rapidly expanding Climate Tech sector. We are on a mission to curb the climate crisis by enabling the world's transition to net-zero supply chains. Leveraging the latest advances in AI, our innovative cloud software solution provides instantaneous product environment footprint reports and critical analytics for consumer packaged goods companies, enabling them to meet their net-zero emissions goals.

Role Description

We are looking for a high performing Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our fast growing startup. You will be at the forefront of CarbonBright's extraordinary trajectory and have a direct and highly visible impact on the success of CarbonBright’s business. The SDR will be responsible for inside sales, lead generation, communication, sales, and business development activities. The SDR will work closely with the founding team to identify potential clients, qualify leads, and nurture relationships to drive revenue growth.

What You Will Do

  • Utilize various sales tools and techniques to identify and qualify leads effectively, in order to generate new sales opportunities.
  • Target, manage and follow-up with prospects through various channels, including outbound prospecting, email marketing campaigns, LinkedIn, social outreach, etc.
  • Qualify leads/contacts based upon specifically defined criteria to transition meaningful sales leads into the pipeline
  • Learn and demonstrate a fundamental understanding of CarbonBright’s Platform, and clearly articulate its capabilities and advantages to decision makers
  • Generate new business opportunities and schedule product demos for the founding team.
  • Help prepare for prospect meetings and events
  • Coordinate email marketing campaigns to generate inbound leads
  • Help with content creation and releasing content

Qualifications

  • Inside Sales (SDR) and Lead Generation skills
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively articulate value propositions and build relationships
  • Demonstrated experience in sales and business development
  • Proficiency working with CRM’s such as Hubspot
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Experience in the climate technology, Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), or sustainability industry is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field

Location

  • Remote position. Working hours must overlap with US Eastern Time zone morning hours.
