Your Day to Day

The Engineer will be responsible for verifying quality and technical requirements for projects, products, and service deliveries for Westinghouse from bid phase and component design through manufacturing and delivery.

• Evaluate new and existing suppliers as requested by the Delivery Stream Manager.
• Drive support for Supplier Assessment, Supplier Audits, and Technical Evaluations.
• Lead Request for Quotation (RFQ) package creation and Supplier Design Proposal Compliance Matrix review meetings.
• Create Manufacturing and Process Plan estimates and execute Supplier Oversight Quality Assurance (QA) Technical Witness and Hold Points.
• Lead Kick Off meetings with Suppliers, manage Supplier Development, and drive completion of Purchase Order (PO) Change Notices.
• Provide periodic Project Schedule Updates and Customer Status Updates.

Who You Are

As a successful candidate, you will bring the following:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering.
• 7 years of applicable experience.
• Experience preferred in Power Generation or Nuclear Industries.
• Familiarity with Manufacturing Capability Assessment concepts and Supplier Technical Evaluations.
• Fluent in English, secondary language skills a plus.
• Willingness to travel to support emergent project issues and supplier development.
• US Citizen or eligible to meet access criteria and import/export controls laws and regulations.
