Senior Systems Engineer

Last Energy seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to lead the integration of our power plant systems and ensure seamless coordination between various engineering disciplines such as electrical, mechanical and structural. This candidate will optimize the product features, system integration, ensure technical excellence, and deliver reliable and efficient power solutions.### Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Owns product requirements including performance, cost and schedule, and system design trade-offs
• Partners with cross-discipline engineering teams to develop program plans including design execution, cost, schedule, and risk mitigation strategies that meet technical, production, and business requirements
• Lead the integration of different hardware and software components into a cohesive system
• Gather and analyze requirements from various stakeholders to ensure that the system meets the intended goals
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement by proposing and implementing enhancements to power plant design, modularization, construction, and delivery processes
• Identify and manage risks associated with the technology being developed
• Demonstrates clear and timely technical communication skills across engineering, commercial, and supply chain organizations

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent knowledge and experience
• 10+ years of experience in power plant, or industrial equipment design with a specific focus on systems integration
• Systems Engineering experience for a complex engineering product
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders
• Strong leadership qualities, including the ability to inspire and motivate teams, and provide technical guidance and mentorship
