**Job Location:** UT Corp, Orem, UT **Salary Range:** $14.00 - $16.00

**Description:** A Data Entry Application Specialist at ION Solar contributes by accurately and efficiently submitting permit applications, following up with jurisdictions to obtain approvals, and communicating clearly with customers.

**Duties & Responsibilities:**

• Submit all permit applications within 24 hours of hitting the queue
• Follow up with accounts weekly to determine approval status
• Communicate with all customers in the queue weekly to provide updates and answer questions
• Communicate with other departments clearly to determine necessary actions to move the account forward
• Maintain both personal and team email, respond to all communications within 48 hours

**Required Skills & Abilities:**

• Ability to type at least 45 words per minute
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
• Ability to develop solutions to difficult problems

**Education and Experience:**

• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Customer service experience required
• Solar experience preferred

**Working Conditions:**

• Fast-paced open floor office environment with significant computer and phone usage
• Utilization of complex systems
• Speed and accuracy are essential to the successful completion of tasks
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Regular requirement to talk or hear, frequent requirement to stand, walk, reach, bend, or lift up to 20 pounds
• The noise level in the work environment is typical of an office
• May encounter interruptions throughout the workday
