Location

This position can sit in in our offices in Bilbao, Madrid or Seville.

You mision

• Solarpack Project Development team is looking for a highly accomplished renewable energy business development Leader to join our growing team.
• Reporting to the Head Development & Strategy South Europe, this position will work with cross-functional teams to deliver successful battery storage projects.
• This role will lead and promote the strategic development, growth, and sustainability of a portfolio of BESS projects from Greenfield to RTB in Spain.

Your role

• Hybridize projects with BESS. Obtaining site control, modifying the interconnection permit, and all the permits for the operation of the BESS.
• Project development activities to reach Notice to Proceed (NTP) status by managing the relationship with the relevant stakeholders such as the developers, authorities, landowners, grid operators, off takers, and advisors, etc.
• Coordinate the tasks and inputs such as Legal, Technical, Finance.
• Coordinate external consultants (engineering, environmental, etc.)
• Coordinate financial modelling to assess project economics.

Your profile

• Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or relevant master's degree preferred.

• Knowledge of the Storage industry, specific Spanish regulations.

• Performance in QGIS, GOOGLE EARTH, AUTOCAD.

• At least 15 years of experience in renewable energy project development companies, and with knowledge in BESS projects.

• Track record of successfully develop Renewable energy project from greenfield to COD.

• High level of Spanish.

• High level of English (C1).

• Strategic vision and business orientation.

• Leadership.

• Strong team spirit.

• Excellent communication, negotiation and time management skills.
