Actively participate in the successful shaping of the energy transition and strengthen our Asset Management Team in Hamburg as soon as possible as an Asset Manager Wind Solar (m/f/d).

What to Expect

• Support the acquisition of new projects through conducting a Commercial Due Diligence.
• Accompany the acquisition and construction phase of new projects including the examination of investment calculations and the procurement of external and equity capital as well as decisions on the acceptance of services and trades supported by external experts.
• Monitor the execution of all tasks from the purchase agreements of a new project.
• Shape the handover of new projects from the Investment Team to the commercial and technical management.
• Participate in negotiating contracts with external service providers.
• Monitor the implementation of all requirements from the operating permit.
• Manage the handling of performance issues with external service providers and major incidents.
• Address complex issues in operation with the support of technical and legal management.
• Monitor the liquidity of the companies you are responsible for based on the liquidity planning of commercial management and make decisions on possible distributions.
• Monitor the economic situation of the companies you are responsible for based on the business evaluations and updates of financial models.
• Develop scenarios for economic optimization.
• Decide on technical optimizations together with management on proposals from technical management.
• Define the necessary updates in financial models together with management and the commercial and technical management.

Requirements

• Degree in Economics, Engineering, or equivalent completed education.
• Professional experience in the solar and wind energy industry, ideally in project development and operation.
• High level of self-motivation and personal responsibility.
• Excellent analytical skills and outstanding communication skills.
• Very good knowledge of German.
• Good English language skills in speech and writing.
• French, Spanish, Dutch, and/or Danish language skills are desirable.
