Job Description

We are building a state-of-the-art Gigafactory that will be one of the largest cell production facilities in Europe. We are now looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Accounting team. Volvo Cars is one of the most well-known and respected car brands in the world. Northvolt is a leading supplier of sustainable high-quality battery cells and systems dedicated to delivering the world's greenest lithium-ion battery. Together, we have formed a joint venture NOVO Energy to power the next generation of pure electric Volvo cars.

**What you will do:**

• Responsible for managing day-to-day transactions, primarily processing invoices and maintaining vendor accounts.
• Ensure accuracy and currency of transactions.
• Handle queries efficiently and contribute to financial health.
• Gain experience in maintaining accurate information processing and system integrity.
• Join a small and dynamic Accounting team.
• Process high-volume PO and non-PO invoices accurately.
• Interact with management and various departments for query resolution.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with year-end audits and maintain compliance with corporate policies.

**Skills & Requirements:**

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Accounts Payable processing or similar finance role.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable principles, procedures, and Swedish VAT regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software, preferably experience with Dynamics Finance and Operations 365.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Effective communication skills in English and Swedish.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively.
