Join our rapidly growing and expert team at Copenhagen Offshore Partners where we are leading the development and construction of offshore wind projects worldwide. At COP, we thrive on a fast-paced and exciting environment working collaboratively and empowering our team members to make a meaningful impact on the energy transition. We are a bold, dynamic company with an unwavering focus on our people, enabling them with the skills, experience, and trust to make a difference on the job and for our renewable energy future. We are in a stage of high growth and therefore building a deeply motivated, diverse, and skilled workforce driven to make a positive impact on the planet. It is such an exciting time to join us and if everything we have shared so far sounds motivating to you, we look forward to receiving your application.
Our People Communications team is seeking an ambitious student to support a dynamic portfolio of communications projects and initiatives to build and solidify COP's reputation across global markets where we are unleashing offshore wind projects and accelerating the global energy transition. You will be trusted to take on responsibility early and oversee ongoing initiatives to tell COP's brand story and influence our key audiences. You will also serve as an important partner to ideate new strategies and ultimately launch programs to distinguish COP as an offshore wind leader and an employer of choice. All of these activities will be closely coordinated with the Head of Communications who you will report to and who you will be able to turn to for support to develop your communications toolbox.
Furthermore, if you're looking to build a truly global career, you've come to the right place. Our Communications team builds bridges across offices and projects, helping to elevate our impactful work through creative campaigns and thoughtful narrative creation. We are looking for someone who is excited to work with people from different backgrounds and will celebrate this dynamic team environment in our communications work. You will support initiatives including:
- Internal communications strategies and execution, including intranet content creation, team updates, programmatic messaging
- Event logistics and communications
- Employee branding initiatives
- Online research projects
- Writing diverse content
- Maintain and build out COP's website
- Social media content creation and oversight
- Additional activities across the People Communications team as needed
**To succeed in this role, you have:**
- Strong writing skills, both short and long-form content
- Excellent English language skills
- Quick research skills and experience summarizing and collating findings in clear and straightforward terms
- Aptitude and interest to create compelling social media and web content
- Experience or motivation to learn how to execute small design projects using online tools (Canva, etc.)
- Ability to navigate new situations, online platforms, and tasks with confidence as well as to ask questions when you need support
- An interest in renewable energy and offshore wind and an ambition to get smart on key components of our company and business quickly
- Positive and proactive attitude and interest to work with a young and growing team
- Several years of experience studying at university (communications, marketing, international relations, renewable energy, business students preferred but others program studies welcome) and have approximately 20 hours per week available to serve in this role. Ideally, you will be able to distribute your time across 3 days per week.
**What we offer:**
We provide a unique opportunity for you to build trust and take on significant responsibilities right from your first day. You will have the chance to work on complex renewable energy projects contributing to the growth of our rapidly expanding organization. Joining our team means becoming part of a dynamic work environment collaborating with over 400 employees from diverse backgrounds representing over 40 nationalities. We offer a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package, all of which we will be delighted to inform you of during the interview process.
