David Roberts

David is a writer and runs a popular newsletter, Volts (Volts.wtf), where he writes about clean energy and politics.

David has been reading, writing, and thinking about climate topics for over 15 years. From 2015 to 2020, David worked at Vox and previously wrote for Grist, focusing on environmental news.

 

David’s work has been quoted and cited by all kinds of people, including Al Gore, Paul Krugman, Elizabeth Kolbert and David Wallace-Wells. Most recently, he launched his own publication and podcast.
