Sunairio’s mission is to disrupt weather prediction as we know it in order to build the most advanced platform for valuing, managing, and operating renewable energy. Instead of relying on physics-based weather models that are bias-prone and slow, we use machine learning and advanced statistics to generate high-fidelity simulations of future weather risk–and we do this on multi-year timescales at hourly (or less) resolution. We work with renewable energy project developers, storage operators, energy buyers, energy suppliers, portfolio managers, traders, and utilities to deliver actionable insights into the hardest energy problems.
