Sunfed®, a New Zealand company, is an innovative world-leading hard tech start-up dedicated to making delicious foods that are clean, healthy and sustainable. We do this by re-imagining the high protein food system to bypass animals and source goodness directly from plants. This makes for an agile, efficient and clean food chain, and ensures the end product is not only tasty and nutrition-rich, but also treads lightly on the planet. Sunfed® explores the world’s plants to identify unique and different plant functionality. Using clean technology, the breakthrough Sunfed tech takes proteins from plants and creates a hunky toothy chunk of meaty protein that has similar mouthfeel and functionality to animal meat.
