**Job Description**
We are looking for an experienced System Specialist that will help shape Statkraft's digital future through introducing new technology and driving continuous improvement of tools and processes in close collaboration with our analytical, operative, and technical units. Thereby, you will play a vital role in managing the Virtual Power Plant portfolio of Statkraft in Europe. Your work will be in the center of these activities, and you will be given responsibility from day one.
As part of the Continental Energy Management Systems team, you will:
- Oversee and execute the implementation of new business processes and support onboarding process of decentralized energy plants to the VPP, including asset connectivity.
- Represent and translate the needs of Stakeholders towards product development teams in internal IT as well as external vendors and fulfill business requirements resulting in customer satisfaction.
- Deliver on the product roadmap using agile methodology, ensuring the projects are realized according to time and quality.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders and product owners to understand their operational and developmental requirements and support strategic ambitions by driving continuous optimization of processes and tools.
- Maintain business logic in the products that have been established.
- Support the Product Owner in managing the operational and strategic requirements towards the VPP.
- Ensure robust solutions and provide support where needed.
**Qualifications**
- University degree in engineering, natural sciences, or business.
- Ability to summarize and solve problems in a fast and efficient way.
- Experience in energy business, Virtual Power Plant.
- Experience in energy systems integration, power grid operations, or Control Systems SCADA systems.
- Desired hands-on experience in Networking.
- Knowledge of Control Systems, IT-OT Convergence.
- Strong cross-team collaboration and service orientation with an ability to effectively influence decisions, direction, and outcomes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Programming skills, especially Python, are a plus.
- Strong process design automation and technical skills to enable lean and automated process solutions.
- Excellent communication skills in English is a must.
