About the role

We're investing in our transmission network to connect new sources of low carbon and green energy. As a Support Surveyor for our Customer Connections team, you'll play a key role in delivering new infrastructure projects to help facilitate The Great Grid Upgrade, the largest overhaul of the electricity grid in generations. Join us in connecting more renewable energy to homes and businesses across England and Wales.

Key accountabilities

• Support with the delivery of all land rights and acquisitions for infrastructure projects
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
• Procure and manage external resources for lands activities
• Implement National Grid Lands Rights Strategy
• Assist with project reporting on programme key milestones, risks, and financial management

About you

• Experience in delivering land activities for infrastructure projects
• Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
• Awareness of legal and regulatory parameters relevant to land acquisitions
