Position Summary

The Service Manager provides tactical and strategic level management and leadership to field service professionals at the Beltsville, MD branch and multiple customer locations.

Core Responsibilities and Tasks

• Creates and maintains safe working environments
• Manages company property
• Assists in setting department budgets
• Addresses and resolves employee relation issues
• Translates customer requirements into workforce plans
• Provides day-to-day direction to employees
• Manages operational impact
• Autonomy to make decisions within divisional span of control
• Responsible for customer management and retention

Position Requirements

• **Formal Education**:
• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
• Technical degree or applicable industry equivalent experience
• **Knowledge & Experience**:
• 5-7 years technical experience
• 3 years of leadership or management experience
• Proficient with computers and business software
• Ability to communicate effectively and lead teams
• Critical thinking and complex problem-solving skills
• **Driving Requirements**:
• Able to operate a company vehicle
• Pass driver requirements
• **Additional Details**:
• Receives coaching and guidance from senior management
• Defines and drives customer, employee, and safety management

Travel Requirements

• Up to 50%
