Do you want to design the interfaces for the energy transition? This is your opportunity to become a member of our Technology Consulting division within E.ON's Digital Technology organization. As a partner for our businesses across the E.ON Group, our division makes a major contribution as an internal professional services organization to accelerate the delivery of E.ON's Digital Transformation Strategy.

As a UX Designer (f/m/d) within the E.ON d lab, you will be part of a highly motivated cross-functional team that designs, implements, and optimizes new customer and user journeys across the whole energy spectrum.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer and business requirements to understand the underlying intent
• Design web app and software interfaces and support the Developers turning it into code
• Prepare user stories to support iterative delivery of the product together with Product Owners
• Facilitate and lead exploration and design thinking workshops discussions with the Client that unearth user pain points generate ideas and content for solutions
• Work on international projects with an impact on the energy industry
• Actively participate in team decisions and drive change

Requirements

• Design or UX degree and at least 4-5 years of job experience as a UX designer (f/m/d) or art director (f/m/d) in an agency
• Master UX design tools such as Sketch, Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Significant experience in using state-of-the-art UX design principles to create solutions for all devices
• Familiarity with atomic design principles, design systems, pattern libraries, grids, and cascading style sheets
• Solid grasp of UX research such as planning and conducting user research, user testing, A/B testing, and solving usability and accessibility concerns
• Team player openness to contradictory opinions, new ideas, and flexibility in your thinking
• Strong communication, facilitation, prioritization, and influencing skills so you can stand up and rationalize your design decisions
• Ability to understand complex requirements and work and communicate effectively in an international distributed team setting
• Business fluent in English, German language skills a plus
