Job Summary

The Clean Energy Transportation (CET) group at Pacific Gas and Electric Company is dedicated to accelerating the adoption of clean vehicles in California. The CET team leads a $0.5B portfolio of transportation electrification (TE) programs to increase clean vehicle adoption. This team is looking for a seasoned Senior Program Manager to oversee the Pre-Owned Electric Vehicle (EV) Rebate Program aimed at making EVs more affordable for all customers within PG&E's service area.

Department Overview

The Clean Energy Transportation (CET) group focuses on deploying electric vehicle programs to enhance access to charging infrastructure, reduce the total cost of electric vehicle ownership, educate customers, and engage in research and development for future transportation electrification. The key areas of focus are safety, quality, team success, problem-solving, continuous improvement, teamwork, and building trust relationships.

Position Summary

The Senior Program Manager will manage the Pre-Owned EV Rebate Program, coordinating budgets, timelines, external partners, and key performance indicators. Responsibilities include overseeing the program from inception to completion, driving efficiencies, leading internal and external reporting, and ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies such as the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) or the California Air Resources Board (CARB).

Qualifications

• Strong background in program, product, or project management
• Experience in a regulated environment under the CPUC or CARB
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and provide innovative solutions
• Excellent critical thinking, analytical, and communication skills
• Knowledge of transportation electrification, electric vehicles, EVSE installation, or construction projects is a plus

Compensation

Pacific Gas and Electric Company offers a competitive compensation package based on the location of the job. The salary range for this position is as follows:

• Bay Area Minimum: $102,000
• Bay Area Maximum: $162,000
• California Minimum: $97,000
• California Maximum: $154,000
