YOUR OPPORTUNITY

Attention Senior Environmental Consultants looking to advance their career and help grow our Environmental Services to our Energy Clients in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. We are interested in Leaders to provide strategic leadership to our clients and collaborate with our staff on a variety of projects and actively pursue new opportunities while maintaining existing client relationships. In addition to regularly interacting with clients and participating in business development activities, daily work will also include developing proposals, mentoring staff, driving our quality and health and safety program, and lending your regulatory expertise to deliver to our clients. We are seeking to build a pool of talented individuals. Upon successful submission of your application, you will be considered for current and future opportunities. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership on projects and thought leadership on solutions to environmental challenges for energy projects
  • Lead teams that collect and report on tasks including wetland delineations, threatened and endangered species habitat characterizations, land use mapping, vegetation cover classification, and other natural resource-focused surveys
  • Coordinate, oversee, and prepare waters and wetlands permit applications for the US Army Corps of Engineers and Pennsylvania and New Jersey DEP, plus Soil Erosion Control Plans to County Soil Conservation Districts
  • Coordinate, oversee, and prepare Federal and State SPCC/DPCC Plans for spill coordination with clients
  • Develop proposal strategies and lead collaboration with a broader proposal team
  • Partner with engineer and design teams to deliver successful energy projects
  • Lead business development initiatives with new and existing clients
  • Lead the delivery of high-quality service on client projects
  • Effectively communicate data collection methods and results to varied audiences
  • Recruit, mentor, and support the professional development of staff
  • Drive growth of Key Energy Accounts

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability in business development and revenue growth
  • Successful leadership of diverse project teams and management of large, complex projects, particularly energy projects
  • Experience with local, state, and federal environmental permitting in New Jersey and Pennsylvania
  • Ability to work in a team environment and build a program
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including advanced technical writing abilities
  • Ability to prioritize, organize, and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously
  • Ability to work well independently and with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Working relationships with PECO and ACE or other Pennsylvania and New Jersey Energy Utilities
  • Experience in growing key accounts

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Geology, or a related field is required
  • Graduate degree is preferred
  • Minimum 10 years of experience
