Your Opportunity

Attention Senior Environmental Consultants looking to advance their career and help grow our Environmental Services to our Energy Clients in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. We are interested in Leaders to provide strategic leadership to our clients and collaborate with our staff on a variety of projects, actively pursue new opportunities, and maintain existing client relationships. In addition to regularly interacting with clients and participating in business development activities, daily work will also include developing proposals, mentoring staff, driving our quality and health and safety program, and lending your regulatory expertise to deliver to our clients. We are seeking to build a pool of talented individuals. Upon successful submission of your application, you will be considered for current and future opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership on projects and thought leadership on solutions to environmental challenges for energy projects
  • Lead teams collecting and reporting on tasks such as wetland delineations, threatened and endangered species habitat characterizations, land use mapping, vegetation cover classification, and other natural resource surveys
  • Coordinate, oversee, and prepare water and wetland permit applications for the US Army Corps of Engineers, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey DEP
  • Develop proposal strategies and collaborate with a broader proposal team
  • Partner with engineering and design teams for successful energy project delivery
  • Lead business development initiatives with new and existing clients
  • Communicate data collection methods and results to various audiences
  • Recruit, mentor, and support the professional development of staff
  • Drive growth of Key Energy Accounts

Qualifications, Capabilities, and Credentials

  • Demonstrated ability in business development and revenue growth
  • Successfully led diverse project teams and managed large complex projects, particularly in energy projects
  • Experience with local, state, and federal environmental permitting in New Jersey and Pennsylvania
  • Ability to build and lead teams, review project work, and meet deadlines
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing abilities
  • Ability to prioritize, organize, and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously
  • Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with clients, counsel, and stakeholders
  • Working relationships with PECO, ACE, or other Pennsylvania and New Jersey Energy Utilities
  • Experience in growing key accounts
  • Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Geology, or related field required; graduate degree preferred
  • Minimum 10 years of experience
