Senior Compliance Data Protection Expert (w/m/d) - E.ON

Job Description

**Location:** Essen, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany

Job Responsibilities:

  • Independently support business units of the Corporate Headquarters in legal and operational data protection issues including data management and digitization.
  • Responsible for the digital development of relevant compliance and data protection processes and documentation with corporate-wide relevance.
  • Project coordination with a corporate perspective in the implementation and development of the E.ON Compliance and Data Protection Management System.
  • Conduct compliance and data protection related risk assessments on cross-business matters, processes, and IT systems independently.
  • Act as a direct contact and coordinator for parts of the national or international E.ON compliance data protection organization.
  • Communicate with external stakeholders such as lawyers, supervisory authorities.

Requirements:

  • Completed studies, preferably in law, with 2 state examinations with significantly above-average results.
  • Relevant professional experience and ability to advise on data protection requirements.
  • Strong understanding of processes and IT technical relationships.
  • Interest in Group Compliance Data Protection work and international project coordination.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Self-motivated, precise, results-oriented, and team-oriented work approach.
  • Strong communication, presentation skills, and negotiation skills.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
