Project Manager (Land Use Planner, Geospatial Analyst)

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset and excellent problem-solving skills. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex data sets to help our company make informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze large data sets to drive business insights
• Interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques
• Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, and other strategies to optimize statistical efficiency and quality
• Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
• Filter and "clean" data by reviewing computer reports and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
• Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs
• Locate and define new process improvement opportunities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
• Proven work experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
• Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining, and segmentation techniques
• Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools
• Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to approach complex scenarios logically and systematically
