National Grid is hiring a **Lead Analyst - Utility Services Analyst Support** for our Customer Connections Utility Services Analysis Support department. This position is available in Albany, Buffalo, or Syracuse, NY.

**Job Purpose:** To lead and support key stakeholders in the Electric and Gas Contributions in Aid of Construction (CIAC) process, including complex project estimation, policy interpretation, financial analysis, cost reporting, and end-to-end process improvements.

**Key Accountabilities:**

• Act as the primary point of contact within Utility Services Analysis and Support for complex project estimation, policy interpretation, accumulation of project cost details, and reporting of financial information.
• Oversee and provide day-to-day support to other analysts, including training, addressing escalations, and performing reviews.
• Develop subject matter expertise in applicable rules and regulations the Company operates under.
• Demonstrate proficiency in a wide variety of financial concepts necessary for interpreting data and performing complex financial analyses.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with other business units to share best practices and challenge business decisions.
• Promote and implement procedural best practices for customer request support to ensure compliance with National Grid policies and regulatory requirements.

**Knowledge & Experience Required:**

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 5 years of experience within the utility industry in a finance, accounting, estimation, or regulatory role (in absence of a bachelor’s degree).
• Technical aptitude and excellent communication skills.
• Solid understanding of National Grid’s electric and gas business policies, tariffs, and cost accounting methodologies.
