Are you motivated by motivating others? Are you respectful and a good communicator? Do you thrive in an international environment? We are looking for 2 HSE Coordinators for our HSE department at Vestas Wind Turbine Factory in Nakskov.

We are expanding our factory and employee base in Nakskov and therefore seeking 2 HSE coordinators for our HSE department. You will be part of a team that already consists of 2 employees and an office trainee, and you will report to the HSE Manager.

You will have a significant responsibility in working on the development and maintenance of the Vestas HSE management system. The HSE department is responsible for ensuring that health, safety, and environmental procedures are known and implemented in the factory, and in close collaboration with the factory's management and safety organization, you will play a key role in ensuring that these procedures are followed.

A large part of the daily tasks involves supporting the organization in HSE-related tasks, including motivation, coaching, training, ensuring a good atmosphere that encourages collaboration, and a common safety culture according to Vestas standards. Working hours will generally fall within normal business hours, but as we are a production company with production day, evening, and night, we expect a willingness to adjust working hours outside normal business hours when needed.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Identify HSE-related legislation assessments and permits, as well as conduct risk assessments
  • Training of workplace representatives, team leaders, and employees on safety and work environment
  • Communicate relevant HSE topics, including safety campaigns
  • Establish and maintain HSE procedures and instructions
  • Establish and maintain procedures for chemicals, protective equipment, and waste management
  • Establish and maintain emergency plans and drills
  • Support in work accidents incidents and take the necessary corrective and preventive actions, as well as support in internal and external audits

**Qualifications:**

  • Background or motivation for the position can vary, but direct experience with HSE work or related qualifications are beneficial
  • Understanding of management systems and implementation of procedures to improve Vestas HSE standards
  • Good IT skills, especially Microsoft Office
  • Good Danish and English language skills
  • Ability to interpret legislation and translate it into procedures, as well as understanding complex material

**Skills:**

  • Take initiative and be motivated by collaboration
  • Good at planning work and treating both projects and colleagues with professionalism
  • Outgoing and good at communicating and building relationships across departments
