Veev's prefabricated closed panel systems allow homes to be assembled efficiently on site while delivering both a more sustainable and higher quality final product than traditional construction. Veev has developed a vertically integrated approach that involves multidisciplinary collaboration across real estate design, development, engineering, manufacturing, and construction.

Responsibilities

• Manage, plan, and run the Finish team members.
• Monitor and adhere to established budgetary guidelines for the job.
• Monitor job safety and provide job safety training and awareness for all personnel.
• Monitor quality standards and ensure that technical specifications are being met.
• Assist with developing entire job schedules - 90-day schedules and three-week schedules.
• Monitor job schedule, coordinate work with contractors and deliveries with suppliers, and ensure inspections are scheduled appropriately.
• Advise senior-level superintendents and/or project management of potential problems, work interferences, schedule difficulties, etc.
• Be hands-on and work as part of a team to perform successfully the finishes of the home.
• Operate in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and quality.
• Complete tasks in an organized, methodical, and clean manner.
• Provide a high level of attention to detail and focus on a given task.
• Follow all company policies, safety rules, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Lift raw materials, final products, and items packed for shipment manually or machine-assisted.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
• Strong technical and practical background in carpentry and finish work.
• 3 years of experience in planning scheduling and management of construction work with emphasis on finish work.
• Experience with and broad knowledge of finish tools and equipment.
• Must be able to read and interpret plans and possess a high level of comfort working with numbers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, BIM360.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Meticulous attention to detail to follow precise plans.
• Measuring skills to take accurate precise measurements of materials to follow shop drawings.
• Must be able to walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, and stand for long periods of time.
• Manual dexterity.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs.
• Written and verbal communications in English.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
