Job Description:

**Position Purpose:** Understanding the regulatory framework of the Mexican energy sector in line with the company's business guidelines to ensure compliance with regulations governing natural gas permitted activities. Manage, plan, and coordinate the monitoring of business plans authorized by the regulator and provide advice to internal areas on business opportunities and improvements to optimize the company's operations and results.

**Occupational Profile and Experience:**

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, economics
  • Postgraduate degree in energy regulation, finance, statistics, project management (desirable)
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Intermediate to Advanced English (desirable)
  • At least 3 years of experience in financial statement analysis, accounting, financial information analysis, project management (desirable)
  • Essential 2 years of knowledge in the energy sector, specifically in compliance with obligations and regulation of Natural Gas activities, accounting, and finance

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, attend to requirements, and coordinate internal areas for compliance with applicable regulatory framework.
  • Permit Administration: Manage timely delivery of obligations associated with ENGIE's natural gas permits, monitoring obligations and requirements issued by the regulator for compliance reporting.
  • Business Plans Management and Information Analysis: Coordinate information gathering from different departments for analysis, preparing and submitting files, and compliance reports.
  • Regulated Business Information Analysis: Analyze and reconcile technical and economic information presented to the regulator to mitigate risks and avoid rework.
  • Document Areas Support: Collaborate with operational areas on multidisciplinary projects to achieve ENGIE's expansion and profitability goals.
  • Database Design and Archive Integrity: Design and maintain databases of economic, technical, and operational variables for monitoring and analysis. Ensure integrity and safeguarding of regulatory reports to maintain consistent information reporting to the regulator.
