About Us

Legal Compliance is a corporate function responsible for providing business legal services to the company. Based in Malmö, the team consists of 10 lawyers who support internal clients on various legal matters. Two lawyers are specifically focused on assisting with data protection issues related to supporting E.ON's different business areas. As E.ON undergoes digital transformation in the energy industry, data protection is a crucial aspect. We are seeking a Data Protection Specialist to join us and contribute to shaping the future of energy.

Your Role

As a Data Protection Specialist, you will work closely with our Data Protection Officer and play a key role in ensuring compliance with data protection regulations and guidelines. Your responsibilities include supporting and advising colleagues in implementing data protection practices. You will be responsible for assisting in documenting personal data processing, risk assessments, data processing agreements, and incident logging. By informing and educating our internal companies and employees about GDPR obligations, you will help ensure compliance with data protection regulations. You will also have the opportunity to influence how we handle and protect customer data and be involved in training initiatives.

Location and Duration

The position is based at E.ON's newly built headquarters in Malmö. It is a temporary position lasting for 12 months.

Your Experience

To succeed in this role, we are looking for someone with a strong interest in data protection issues. Experience in providing advice on these matters is desirable, and a legal background is a plus. The most important qualities we seek are willingness and eagerness to develop in this area. We value individuals who are curious, collaborative, customer-focused, and able to build relationships. Effective communication skills at all levels of the organization are essential.
